Design Process:
The concept was inspired by a desire to blend the visual playfulness of a pet-friendly brand with the literary charm of the name. I used bold, bubbly typography paired with a stylized whale tail splash to create instant brand recognition. The typography was custom-shaped to evoke motion and friendliness, while the wave base and splash elements were added to ground the marine theme.
Outcome:
Although the client ultimately reverted to their original branding, this design was praised for its creativity and personality. It serves as a strong example of concept work, custom type manipulation, and illustrative logo design. Personally, this remains one of my favorite explorations due to its lively energy and clever integration of theme.
